At New Hope we place a value on the Sunday School hour as being one of the important hours of the week.
Philippians 1:27 says...
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
We desire to follow Paul's admonition to the Church at Philippi and strive together for the faith of the Gospel. Sunday School is critical to this end as we pass on the faith of the Gospel to others.
We have an adversary who does not wish us to accomplish this task, and we are always only one generation away from losing the faith of the Gospel if we fail to pass it on.
